1. Allocation
IP addresses are assigned for use with an active AlpineLayer service and are not transferred as customer property. Allocation is subject to availability, registry rules and technical justification.
2. Reputation
Customers may not use AlpineLayer IPs for spam, phishing, reputation evasion or abusive traffic. AlpineLayer may replace, restrict or withdraw addresses when required for abuse or operations.
3. Geolocation
Third-party geolocation databases may classify addresses inaccurately or update slowly. AlpineLayer does not guarantee third-party geolocation labels.
4. Reverse DNS
PTR records may be configured for eligible addresses. Customers are responsible for accurate and appropriate values.
5. Advanced routing
Bring-your-own-IP, customer BGP or routed subnets may be offered later under separate technical and contractual requirements.
