1. Integrity
Customers may not spoof addresses, interfere with routing, bypass controls or intentionally disrupt AlpineLayer or third-party networks.
2. Scanning and testing
Scanning is permitted only against systems the customer owns or has authorization to test. Large-scale or high-rate scanning may require prior approval.
3. Port restrictions
AlpineLayer may restrict ports commonly associated with abuse, including outbound SMTP on new cloud accounts, and may require verification before removal.
4. Data transfer
Included transfer, overage pricing and fair-use conditions are product-specific. AlpineLayer or upstream network records determine measured usage.
5. Routing
BGP, private connectivity and advanced routing may be offered later under separate agreements.
