Product Lifecycle & End-of-Life Policy

How AlpineLayer introduces, deprecates and retires products.

Version 1.0Last updated 2 September 2026English

1. Lifecycle stages

Products may progress through preview, beta, general availability, maintenance, deprecation and end-of-life stages.

2. Preview and beta

Preview services may change, lack full SLA coverage and should not be used for critical workloads unless explicitly approved.

3. Deprecation

When a generally available service is deprecated, AlpineLayer will provide reasonable notice and migration guidance where practicable. A target of 90 days may be used for major voluntary changes, but security, legal or supplier changes may require faster action.

4. End of life

At end of life, a product may stop accepting new orders and later cease operation. Customers are responsible for completing required migration by the final date.

5. Third-party products

Licensing vendors, registries and upstream providers may change or discontinue products on timelines AlpineLayer cannot control.
